Chattanooga Football Club announced the latest inductee to the club's Hall of Legends.
On a momentous day for the club in its second round U.S. Open Cup match against Red Wolves, CFC revealed Co-founder Sheldon Grizzle as the lone member of the Class of 2025.
Grizzle was part of the team of people that co-founded Chattanooga FC in 2009, and he also played for the team that inaugural season. He has served on the Board of Directors from 2009 to the present.
Grizzle also served as president of the club from 2019-2020. He has also be an integral part of the growth and stability of Chattanooga FC Academy, serving on the board since 2019 -- including several years as chairman.
His work has been firmly rooted in making the Chattanooga region a more attractive place to live, work, and play. He was a key catalyst for the entrepreneurial renaissance, especially in the Southside and downtown Chattanooga, over the last 14 years. He has also been highly involved in the community as a board member in various community organizations.
He is currently a partner in Thousand Hills Co., a residential land and commercial development company. Sheldon co-founded several companies across multiple industries, including Very, Chattanooga Football Club, Blank Slate Ventures, ReadyCart, CO.LAB, and GIGTANK. He currently serves on the boards of Chattanooga Football Club, CO.LAB, Tennessee Aquarium, and Chattanooga Visitors Bureau.
