Chattanooga FC remains on the road for another matchweek as it travels to the NKU Soccer Stadium for the first time against FC Cincinnati 2 on Sunday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
Chattanooga FC catches FC Cincinnati on the road for the first time on Sunday night.
CFC goes into Matchweek 11 after snapping its two-match skid last Friday with a 2-1 comeback victory over Inter Miami CF II. The win was the club's first on the road in 2026, and defenders Tate Robertson and Farid Sar-Sar both converted their penalty kicks from the spot to seal it.
Ashton Gordon made his first start for the Boys in Blue, while Yuval Cohen made his first appearance of the season since coming back from a preseason injury.
With the win, Chattanooga improved to ninth in the Eastern Conference standings and currently sits fifth in the Southeast Division behind a 4-4-1 (13 pts.) record.
Sunday will be CFC's lone regular season matchup against Northeast Division side FC Cincinnati 2 and the third overall in MLS NEXT Pro. Chattanooga holds a 1-0-1 (1SOL) record against Cincinnati after hosting both previous matchups.

Coach's corner
Interim Head Coach Richard Dixon previewed what he expects from his side in Sunday's matchup at Cincinnati.
"From our end of things, we expect to continue to build on what we have been doing this season," said Dixon. "We've been a team that creates two or three really good opportunities per game, but we squander them and then the opponent gets one chance and buries it.
"For us, it's just about continuing to improve on that. Number one, we want to keep our chance creation high, but also make sure we're improving on our execution and productivity in front of goal. And number two, make sure that we continue to limit chances from the opponent and are executing defensively in those key moments out of possession and in transition."
Know the opponent
FC Cincinnati 2 sits 12th in the Eastern Conference standings and has played to a 3-6-0 (9 pts.) record through nine matches. They are currently riding a three-match winning streak at home.
The club earned a 2-1 win over in-state rivals Columbus Crew 2 last Sunday, that saw forward Stefan Chirila score his team-leading fourth goal of the season.
Cincinnati now comes into Sunday after a quick turnaround after falling 4-0 on the road at Huntsville City FC on Wednesday night.
