Chattanooga FC Women will play their penultimate game of the season away versus FC Nashville Wolves Saturday, June 29th at 6:00 p.m. ET at Davidson Academy. This is the first time these two sides have faced off in the WPSL in a decade.
In two games played in the 2014 WPSL season, CFCW and Wolves played to a 2-1 win for Wolves in Nashville, and a 1-1 draw in Chattanooga.
One player to watch for this game is Annalisa Vincent (pictured above). The Guyanese international scored her first goal for the Sky Blues in the last game versus Decatur FC Triumph, and is coming off two Player-of-the-Match performances.
Know the Opponent
FC Nashville Wolves return to the WPSL after a season away. In the past, they played two seasons in the league with a .735 winning percentage and a 10-2-5 record. In the 2014 WPSL season, they finished first place in the conference.
This season, Wolves sit in last place in the WPSL Southeast Conference, with zero points in six games played. In these games, they have conceded 38 goals and have yet to score one.
Prior to their game against the Sky Blues, they will play Knoxville 865 Alliance on Thursday, June 27. FC Nashville Wolves’ final game of the season will be against Chattanooga FC Women.
