Chattanooga FC Women signs the University of South Alabama and former Reading Women FC player for the 2025 season!
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 17, 2025) — Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) today announced it has signed midfielder Mae Hunt for the 2025 Chattanooga FC Women's WPSL season, pending federation and league approval.
Hunt plays for the University of South Alabama in the Sun Belt Conference. In 2024, she appeared in 18 matches and started 13 in a total of 1,149 minutes of game time.
Prior to her time with the Jaguars, Hunt came through the Reading FC Academy and played for Reading Women FC for five years.
"Mae is a talented midfielder with great composure on the ball and great ability to perform under pressure," said Chattanooga FC Women Head Coach Juan Hernandez. "She covers ground exceptionally well and is a strong distributor, making her a valuable asset to every team she has been a part of. On top of that, she brings a strong tactical understanding of the game that makes her an important piece of our midfield. I am looking forward to working with her this summer."
Hunt expressed her excitement upon joining CFC.
"I am very excited to get started, play some games and represent such a great club. Having the opportunity to be a part of this community is going be a great privilege, and I'm excited to make valuable connections both on and off the pitch."
