Chattanooga FC Women signs the Tennessee Tech University midfielder and former Chattanooga FC Academy player for the 2025 season!
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 15, 2025) — Chattanooga Football Club (CFC) today announced it has signed local midfielder Tori Soutuyo for the 2025 Chattanooga FC Women's WPSL season, pending federation and league approval.
"Tori is a dynamic and versatile player who excels in multiple positions on the field," said CFC Women Head Coach Juan Hernandez. "She brings relentless work ethic and a high-level understanding of the game. As a local talent, Tori is eager to continue her growth in a competitive and supportive environment and we’re excited to have her do that here at Chattanooga FC."
A Chattanooga native, Soutuyo made 16 appearances and tallied one goal as a sophomore for the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles in 2024.
Prior to her collegiate career, Soutuyo played locally for the CFC Academy and lettered all four years in basketball and soccer at Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga.
She was a four-time all-district performer, a four-time all-region recipient and an all-state player in 2021 and helped lead her team to a district championship in 2019. Additionally, she scored 48 career goals and tallied 44 career assists.
Soutuyo expressed her enthusiasm upon joining Chattanooga FC Women.
"I'm so excited to be joining CFC; this club means so much to the city of Chattanooga, where I call home," said Soutuyo. "Being able to join and represent this team is an incredible honor.
"I can't wait to play with such passionate players and supportive fans. I look forward to joining the community and learning more about myself and what it means to play at CFC."
