ChattanoogaFC.com takes a closer look at how standouts from the club's academy have contributed to a successful Chattanooga FC Women season in a feature presented by Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics.

One of the highlights of the Chattanooga FC Women’s WPSL season has been the chance for former and current senior academy standouts to integrate into first team training sessions and matches.

In doing so, these athletes have had the opportunity to grow their experience at the next level. The players who have played minutes, made matchday roster appearances, or have been training with the CFC Women’s first team this season are: Kennedy Ball, Regina Campa, Hannah Helms, Brady Livingston, Tori Soutuyo, Kloe Reeves, Kayden Mounce, Ryleigh Ramey, Olivia Newton, and Tallulah Lafferty.

"This is a powerful reflection of the strength and promise of our girls’ and women’s pathway at Chattanooga FC,” said Chattanooga FC Sporting Director Sebastian Giraldo. “Our academy athletes are stepping into environments where they train alongside top college players, former professionals, and future stars—all within a culture built to inspire, challenge and elevate. Our mission is to give every young woman the platform to dream big, work hard and grow into the next version of herself. We want them to return each summer feeling empowered and prepared to reach even greater heights."

Chattanooga native and Girls Preparatory School alumna Kennedy Ball has been a key peformer for the team this season and has earned a spot in the starting line-up in five of CFC’s eight regular season matches. Ball is the team's second-highest goalscorer with four goals in her five appearances, two of which she scored in the season opener at home against UFA Gunners.

Former academy standout Brady Livingston has made six rostered gameday appearances and contributed a big assist on Kaylie Smith’s goal against Atlanta Fire United in the final regular season home match.

“I’ve had the privilege of watching our players grow both on and off the field,” said CFC Women Head Coach Juan Hernandez. “It’s inspiring to see these young women embrace challenges, push their limits, and set new standards for what’s possible. The CFC Women’s roster creates an exceptional setting for our academy players to continue developing through exposure to a diverse range of experience and talent from across the country."

The 2025 WPSL campaign has been a great opportunity for Regina Campa, Kloe Reeves and Tori Soutuyo as well, who have all made gameday roster appearances for CFC Women. Chattanooga local Soutuyo leads the trio with six appearances, followed by Reeves with five and Campa with two.

"CFC Women and the WPSL have the mission to create a positive and consistent high level soccer pathway for young women to be a part of, to excel their potential on and off the field," said CFCW Associate Head Coach Maryn Beutler. "CFC Women and staff are thrilled to be a part of CFC Academy players' journeys and to facilitate an environment for them to grow and achieve their goals. By supporting these young women with the environment and resources they need, they will be able to achieve and thrive wherever soccer takes them."

And on Thursday these young, talented players will have the chance to win a conference championship for Chattanooga.
