Chattanooga FC will travel to face Chicago Fire FC II on Sunday, March 15, with kickoff set for 4:00 pm ET at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill.

Chattanooga FC looks to keep the momentum rolling as it hits the road for its first away match of 2026 against Chicago Fire FC II.

The Boys in Blue earned their first three points of the season over new independent club CT United FC last week in a 4-2 victory at home. After Chattanooga conceded a goal to Connecticut, Tate Robertson found the back of the net to equalize for CFC in his 100th appearance for the club. Last Sunday also saw Captain Alex McGrath score his first of the season in his long-awaited return to the pitch after recovering from injury, while newcomer Alex Krehl scored his first brace for CFC.

Sunday's matchup will be the first of three between Chattanooga and Chicago this season and the third overall in MLS NEXT Pro, with Chicago joining the Southeast Division for the 2026 season.

Interim Head Coach Richard Dixon previewed the team's first road trip of the season.

"We'd like to improve in all areas," said Dixon. "We've been diligent in focusing on our defensive organization and making sure we're all on the same page, understanding how we are going to press and defend through the thirds of the pitch.

"This will be our first away game as well, so it's our first test on the road and I'm excited to see how the guys handle a new environment with the travel and weather that comes with it. We have a good group of returners that have been to this venue before, but we also have a lot of new players who it will be a first for, so it will be good to see how everyone reacts and adapts."
