Chattanooga Football Club announces 2024 preseason schedule

Chattanooga, Tenn. (Jan. 26, 2024) – Chattanooga Football Club announced today its full 2024 preseason schedule ahead of the club's inaugural season competing in MLS NEXT Pro.

Chattanooga FC will open its preseason schedule on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET with a short trek up I-75 to take on USL League One side One Knoxville SC in a closed-door match.

The next weekend will see CFC participate in the inaugural "Blastoff Battle" invitational tournament hosted by Huntsville City FC. Chattanooga FC will kick off their participation against USL League One side South Georgia Tormenta FC on Friday, Feb. 16 at 4:00 p.m. CT/5:00 p.m. ET.

The club will return to the pitch on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 11:00 a.m. CT/12:00 p.m. ET against the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The Chargers are coached by former CFC player John Carrier.

The next weekend will see CFC host UPSL side Uma FC out of LaGrange, Georgia on Saturday, Feb. 24. This match will be open exclusively to season ticket holders.

CFC fans will then get the opportunity to support the boys in blue at Fort Finley on Saturday, Mar. 2 at 3:00 p.m. ET against USL Championship club Birmingham Legion. Tickets are currently on sale to the public. The match is included in all season ticket packages.

Head Coach and Sporting Director Rod Underwood's side will finish preseason with a closed-door home match on Saturday, Mar. 9 at 3:00 p.m. ET against Nashville's UPSL side Tennessee Tempo.

Chattanooga Football Club will kick off its inaugural season in MLS NEXT Pro at Finley Stadium on March 16. The full MLS NEXT Pro regular season schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
