HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Aug. 16, 2026) — Huntsville City FC earned a 2-0 victory over Inter Miami II on Sunday night, securing three points at home in the second matchup between the two sides this season. Huntsville previously defeated Inter Miami II 4-2 in the first meeting.
After a scoreless first half, the Boys in Blue broke through late. In the 89th minute, Jordan Knight found Malachi Molina, who finished to put Huntsville ahead 1-0.
Just minutes later, Knight connected with Molina again, as the forward found the back of the net in the seventh minute of stoppage time to complete his brace and seal the 2-0 victory.
The two assists marked Knight’s third assist of the season, while Molina’s brace brought his season total to six goals.
The Boys in Blue return to Wicks Family Field next Sunday, Aug. 23, to take on Columbus Crew 2 for First Responders Night, presented by Huntsville Hospital and TOC. First responders can enjoy $5 tickets for the match.
