Aaron Bibout came out firing on all cylinders for LA Galaxy II versus Whitecaps FC 2 this Sunday as he scored the first goal of a hat-trick performance in the second minute of play. His first professional goal set the tone for one of the most exciting matches of Matchday 4. More importantly, Bibout's hat-trick was the first of the season in MLS NEXT Pro and the first since Inter Miami II's Shanyder Borgelin, now a first-team contracted player, did so on August 7 of last year.
The admirable performance against the squad north of the border earned the 18-year-old MLS NEXT Pro Player of Matchday 4.
Bibout scored his second goal to even things up after Los Dos had fallen behind early in the second half. After receiving the ball in the midfield, the Cameroonian player made a perfect run to find himself in the right place and tap the ball in for his second goal.
Bibout would eventually score the game-winner by showing his tenacity and not giving up on the play. LA Galaxy II's victory over WFC2 was their first of the season, and Bibout played a significant role.
Up next for Aaron Bibout and LA Galaxy II is a showdown versus one of the hottest teams in MLS NEXT Pro when they host Austin FC II on Sunday, April 23. You can catch the action live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
