Carolina Core FC returns to Truist Point Stadium looking to build on its recent momentum as the Foxes welcome FC Cincinnati 2 for their penultimate home match of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro regular season.

1 - Continuing Momentum

Coming off a strong performance against Huntsville City FC, the Foxes will look to make it back-to-back wins at Truist Point Stadium. Carolina Core FC earned a 2-0 victory on Aug. 8 behind goals from Charles Orbaugh and Thomas Raimbault and enters its matchup against FC Cincinnati 2 with a 4-1-4 home record since May 2. The Core will look to continue its strong run of form at home and secure another three points against the Orange and Blue.

33 - Player to Watch: Bodie Ford

Bodie Ford enters the upcoming match as the Foxes' player to watch after making his first MLS NEXT Pro start and playing the full 90 minutes in Carolina Core FC's 2-0 victory over Huntsville City FC. Ford made an impact on both ends of the pitch, helping anchor the Foxes defensively while also providing the assist on Thomas Raimbault's 44th-minute goal to double The Core's advantage.

3 - Keeping Cincinnati in Check

FC Cincinnati 2 enters the matchup ranked among the top 10 teams in the Eastern Conference in goals scored on counterattacks and from outside the penalty area. The Foxes will look to limit Cincinnati’s opportunities in transition and from distance while controlling possession in the attacking half as they search for their second consecutive victory.
