Four of the 18 sides competing during week four found the back of the night on four separate occasions, with 34 goals being scored between the 18 sides competing in nine games. That equates to 3.8 goals per game, the best average through four weeks.

MLS NEXT Pro early record-breaker: 7 goal margin
NYCFC II put on an attacking clinic against Inter Miami II, scoring on seven occasions while keeping a clean sheet in a 7-0 victory. Six different goal scorers found the back of the net while NYCFC II put the ball in the goal, on two occasions, in three-minute-spans.

4 straight wins, 4 goals scored
Houston Dynamo 2 are flying high to begin their inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season. Kenny Bundy’s side has taken a possible 12 out of 12 available points through four weeks while boasting a +8 goal differential in the process. Week three saw Roberto Avila score a hat trick, while week four saw Dynamo Dos find the back of the net through four different scorers en route to a 4-1 win over Timbers2.
T2 is the first team to score on Dynamo Dos all season, but MLS NEXT Pro’s hottest side has yet to concede a goal from open play.

Defensive Prowess: 5 clean sheets
Columbus Crew 2, NYCFC II, CITY2, MNUFC2, and North Texas SC all put on defensive clinics during week four, claiming three points while keeping a clean sheet in the process. We have seen numerous impressive goalkeeping performances and 19 clean sheets through four weeks during this inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season.
Thin margins: 4 matches decided by 1 goal
Four matches were decided by one goal during week four. Three of the four winning goals came in the 80th minute or later, including a stoppage-time winner for Revs II in a 3-2 over FC Cincinnati 2.
A clutch goal from Revs II midfielder Jack Panayotou sealed the deal for the home team.
Enjoying April: 3 wins, 3 clean sheets in 3 games
After dropping their first game to Inter Miami II in March, April has been a much kinder month to Columbus Crew 2. They've won all three of their matches while scoring four goals without giving up a single one. Dynamo Dos is the only other team with three victories this month, and both squads will look to make it four wins out of four games in April this upcoming weekend.

For the first time in the inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season, no matches ended in a stalemate after 90 minutes during week four. In MLS NEXT Pro, each team walks away with a point if a game ends in a draw. At the end of regulation, an additional point in the standings becomes available for the team that wins the shootout from the penalty spot.
