The halfway point of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season has arrived, and with it comes a new team at the top of the Power Rankings.
Austin FC II takes over the number one spot after extending its winning streak with a 3-1 road victory over MNUFC2 this past weekend.
Out in the East, Columbus Crew 2 returns to the Top 10 after taking down bitter rivals FC Cincinnati 2 in a thrilling finish.
Let’s take a look at how this week’s Top 10 Power Rankings shake out.
Austin FC II wasted no time against MNUFC2, scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes and never looking back in a 3-1 road victory.
The win was Austin’s seventh straight and pulled them level with Houston Dynamo 2 atop the Western Conference with 31 points.
16-year-old Erick Feliciano continued his breakout season by scoring his third goal of the year and continuing to show why his stock continues to rise each time he steps on the field.

The Western Conference leaders had Matchweek 15 off but are ready to bounce back from their first loss of the season against Tacoma Defiance this week.

Crown Legacy FC had no answer for Arnaud Tattevin, who scored a brace against them for the second time this season en route to a 2-0 road loss against Carolina Core FC.
The CLFC offense was shut out for the first time this season, and even though they generated 20 shots, only three reached the CCFC goal.
They'll look to bounce back when they face Huntsville City FC on the weekend.

St Louis CITY2 eked out a shootout win against Colorado Rapids 2 in Matchweek 14 action and will look for a road win against MNUFC2 when they return to action on June 20th.

New England Revolution II earned their fifth home victory of the season with a 2-1 win over Red Bull New York II on Sunday.
The result pushed Pablo Moreira’s side up to third place in the Eastern Conference and continued one of the league’s strongest runs of form.
Myles Morgan and Javaun Mussenden provided the goals as Revs II picked up another positive result.

The defending champions fell once again, this time dropping a 2-1 road match to Revs II.
RBNY II are now winless in their last five matches; the good news for Red Bull II is that their next opponent is TFC II, the last team they defeated back in early May.

Four straight wins have Orlando City B continuing their climb up the Eastern Conference standings.
OCB rallied from behind with two second-half goals to earn a 2-1 comeback victory over Huntsville City FC, moving them into the top three teams in the Eastern Conference standings with 28 points.
And don't look now, but Orlando City B is within striking distance of first place.
A win at home against Philadelphia Union II this weekend could send OCB to the top of the conference.

Columbus Crew 2 got revenge for their Matchweek 10 loss to FC Cincinnati 2 by claiming a 1-0 victory on the road over the weekend.
Zach Zengue was the difference-maker, scoring his ninth goal of the season in the 74th minute to give his side their third consecutive victory.
Crew 2 now sit in second place in the Eastern Conference and will make it four wins in a row when they host Atlanta United 2 on June 21st.

If you missed Atlanta United 2 vs. Chattanooga FC, you missed one of the wildest matches MLS NEXT Pro has had this season.
The game had it all.
Both teams combined for eight goals, two of them own goals, and a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer that sent the contest to a shootout, where Chattanooga FC ultimately earned the extra point.
For Atlanta United 2, it will feel like two points dropped after leading in the final minutes.
ATL UTD 2 looked set to walk away with all three before Yuval Cohen pounced during a late scramble in the box to level the match at the death.
Atlanta United 2 now turns its attention to a road trip to Ohio, where Columbus Crew 2 awaits.

In another case of late heartbreak, Ventura County FC saw a lead slip away in the final moments as Chris Aquino’s free-kick equalizer sent the match against Colorado Rapids 2 to a shootout.
VCFC fell 5-4 in the shootout and only walked away with a point at home.
Now, they'll have a week off before hosting Real Monarchs on June 27th.
