Chattanooga FC welcomes 2025 MLS NEXT Pro champions Red Bull New York II to Finley Stadium on Saturday, June 6 at 7:00 p.m. ET for Run Scenic City and Margaritaville Night to kick off the Summer of Soccer, presented by Ruby Falls.

Chattanooga FC is looking to bounce back at Finley Stadium on Saturday night.

The Boys in Blue saw its three-match winning streak come to an end against Orlando City B last matchweek when it fell 5-2 on the road. Sunday's performance saw Alex Krehl's team-leading sixth goal of the season and midfielder Luke Husakiwsky joined the scoresheet for the first time in 2026.

CFC ultimately fell short at the end of the night, but goalkeeper Griffin Huff made his first MLS NEXT Pro start and Alex McGrath returned to the pitch for the first time since April 11.

Going into Saturday's matchup against 2025 MLS NEXT Pro champions Red Bull New York II, Chattanooga sits seventh in the Eastern Conference standings and fourth in the Southeast with a 6-5-2 (19 pts.) record and total of 19 points.

This weekend will be CFC's third overall meeting with RBNY II and their only matchup in the 2026 regular season. Chattanooga holds a 0-1-1 (1SOW) record against Red Bulls II.

Coach's corner

Interim Head Coach Richard Dixon shared how he's seen the team chemistry grow throughout the season so far.

"I think we're in a really good place in terms of our cohesion as a team," said Dixon. "We obviously had a rocky start to the year in preseason. There were tons of changes, not just with staff, but also moving into our headquarters and trying to establish a new workflow. The group has done a really good job of rallying behind each other and making sure that we're focusing on the objectives and suporting each other every week. I think we have a good group of guys that all want to win.

"The new guys are now part of a group that developed a culture and identity last season by grinding out results and fighting to come away with three points," Dixon continued. "Bringing in a lot of the new guys who raise our level with the quality of play has been a really good change for the group while our returners have continued to lead and pull those guys in while adapting. Naturally, you go through that learning curve when you're putting a team together. I think once we established our identity and how we wanted to play and operate, the team has done a fantastic job in taking that on and running with it week by week."
